The Soviet Story - The Crimes of Soviet regime

Communist regimes around the Globe are responsible for a greater number of deaths than any other political ideal or movement, including Nazism (death toll totals more than 94 million people). In the USSR alone communists killed more than 20 million people. Despite that Western world refuse to accept the fact that their Allie, the Soviet Union in fact committed war crimes and genocide even larger in scale than that of Nazi regime.

This is a short video from the movie called "The Soviet Story" that was filmed over two years in Russia, Ukraine, Latvia, Germany, France, UK and Belgium using material collected during a period of more than 10 years. The film crew interviewed in excess of 20 experts and victims of Soviet crimes - historians, members of the European Parliament, a Soviet Secret agent, a Soviet military intelligence colonel, Soviet dissidents, GULAG inmates, as well as victims of the Famine-Genocide, deportations and of other Soviet crimes. "The Soviet Story" features leading Western historians Norman Davies, Nicolas Werth and Françoise Thom as well as renowned Professors of History from Russia - Natalia Lebedeva, Sergey Slutch and Boris Sokolov.

Edvins Snore is both the scriptwriter and director of the film, which is his debut feature documentary. He started the research while an MBA student of Political Science. As a result, "The Soviet Story" presents a truly unique insight into dark episodes of Soviet History.

Primorsky is quite correct. There are historical films for education and there are hysterical films for propaganda. This one is more of the latter than of the former. A movie to justify the blind anti-Russian hatred of the Balts who were themselves the main tools of the the communist revolution and fought actively against Russian anti-communists. They feel the need to cover up their bolshevik past, I guess.

That is factually not true. Communists/socialists murdered over 100 Million people during the 20th Century alone. The British empire was bad, it is true. The Nazis were bad, too. But communists/socialists have the most blood on their hands world wide. No other political movement has been so barbarous and monstrous as the communist/socialists. Academia in the West has given Soviet socialists a pass, betraying the truth, and re-writing history to whitewash the mass murders committed by communist/socialist regimes. For nearly 2/3rds of WW II, the National Socialists and the Soviet Socialists were allies dividing up Eastern Europe between them and both committing mass murder. The progressives of today share in the crimes of the Soviets when they try to re-write history and cover up.
