@inforcerer they weren't top boxers, no one knew who they were and they sucked. No one in the boxing world is going to notice him for that. Getting into the UFC will be the highlight of his career, anyone decent will beat him in boxing and it's much harder to become a star in boxing unless you're actually good.

Kimbo was an internet celeb. - That's it! He was never meant for MMA....He has a better chance at being a boxer. Alexander is his only legit win. Everyone else he fought were either has been or never was.
