I wonder what's wrong with the shoe companies, after all barefoot running or minimalist shoe running is about allowing the body to work the way its intended and to absorb the shock all by yourself, aided by having a direct feel of the ground.
These shoes, as Doug Clark explains prolong the heel strike and eliminate impact, yet it is the heel strike in the first place, that creates so many problems with shod running and makes barefoot running superior.
Why do they promote heel striking then?
