@wctennisnyc Well unfortunately they only brought in the really expensive ones and they didn't bring in these ones to the music stores around here.

@diamonddust22 which one did you get? i actually got this one and a used mex-strat(its a good one) stays in tune like crazy... i play the axis really with van halen stuff ...and the fender with just about everything else....i play the fender more but i like both

You said you got yours without a single flaw. I guess you were lucky. I got mine with several cosmetic blemishes and it looks like the quality control on the Indonesian factory is almost non-existent or I better say the promise to examine and set-up each guiatr in CA is just that - the promise. Or both?
The neck is great and flawless but the guitar body is blemished and it isn't a second or B-stock but should've been sold like that. The blemishes are 'hidden' and that's very disappointing.

Thank you for these videos. Do you still play this guitar much after buying the original Music Man Axis?

@diamonddust22 i have both , and i barely play the strat ..i love the sterling
I am torn between buying one of these or a Mexican Strat.

Mexican strats are hit and miss. You can get a good one but you may have to try a few before you find it.

My biggest Question is, Where are these things made? Does anyone know the true answer?

These guitars are made in Indonesia

Hey, man...wonder how that thing purrs through a tight modern overdrive, something creamy. Anyhoo, I thought it was a very productive short review...I appreciate it.

I posted a new video playing this guitar though a Marshall and a 412 cabinet with some overdrive. The sound clip on that video is much better. You will get a better idea of what the guitar actually sounds like though a Marshall stack.
