David Fincher (in my opinion) is the best director of all time.

I think Alien 3 is under-rated, and he did a great job considering. Love his 2003 cut.

I just watched Alien 3. I've seen then all of course, but revisited 3 again just now. It's a piece of shit.

I feel sorry for Fincher. He is correct that the blame for the disaster that was Alien3 was aimed at him, but every film he has made since has been fantastic, and after learning that the problems with alien3 were down to Fox and the lack of a script, hes become one of my favourite directors.
