Love the idea that Will.I.Am is going to bring them greater recognition in USA and around the world, but I really hope he produces a 2NE1 album and not just 2NE1 performing a Black Eyed Peas album. imo, they could benefit from his marketing power, but they already have the talent. So just promote them and let them do their own thing.

I think it was unnecessary for him to say that they just have to make the 'right type' of music to make people want to know 2NE1..is he going to make them sing in english and give them a 'more universal' look that will damage what they represent? They work too hard already and are far more popular than most bands. I get where he comes from but he could have worded it differently.

point is: why do korean artists feel the need to expand to America and the rest of the world by singing in english?
