Thirteen-year-old Kerry is repeatedly sexually abused by several adults, including at one point her mother. Her father sets her up as a prostitute. Kerry finally calls Childline and is put in a safe house, where she tries to come to terms with what has been done to her. Based on a true story, with the names changed to protect the real Kerry's identity.

I wish they had commercials on TV to give money to help abused kids and child abuse organizations and prevention the same way we have them for the SPCA (I see so many commercials about abused cats and dogs set to sad songs, asking people for money or to volunteer, but I can't remember the last time I saw a commercial about CHILD ABUSE- something is wrong with that picture!

It seems like a red flag when a group of adults is paying such a wad of attention to a child, not even a special occasion. Generally adults want to talk adult business at parties; if something is to be child-geared, why didn't they bring their own children?

I'm not a parent yet but do a lot of work with children teaching karate asst coaching soccer ,working at my church ,and going to a community college to be a primary school teacher .I also have a girlfriend with three tomboy princess's oldest only 10youngest 6 ,nd one 8 I took in as mine .The youngest looks like Ramona on Ramona ,and Beezus .If we played that game i'd be o.k. with that .But if got as fare as it did at the end knowing one of them is involed .I would protect her .It's not o.k.
