They Got the Word(City Built Four Square) by The Mississippi Mass Choir featuring Mosie Burks

Here's another YouTube Gospel video. Back in 1999, the Mississippi Mass Choir came out with the album, "Emmanuel:God With Us." In that album, a then 63 year old woman by the name of Mosie Burks would take center stage and lead the album off in the right path with the song, "They Got the Word" Now, almost 11 years later, at the age of 73, she is now a solo artist with her first album, "Mama Burks." The Mississippi Mass Choir is one of the most recognized choirs in the gospel genre, and is easily known for their Southern quality Gospel. They are one choir who knows how to have church wherever they go. For those who can't distinguish Southern Gospel, listen to the bass guitar, the call and response system of the soloist and the choir, and don't forget the famous, "after song shout" that follows! This is one song that will make you have a good time, have a good time! (LOL) I do not own this song; it belongs to Malaco.
