  • I'm Jewish but I enjoy Catholic choral and organ classical music very much. It's the music itself that i care about, and it can be very beautiful

  • this one is simply fantastic.

  • I believe all great composers realized that they were not the creators or originators of beauty, but rather mediums between the divine and the earthly. The melodies themselves are eternal, or manifestations of something eternal, and the artists were simply able to discover them and transcribe it to art through their gifts and hard work. Today's music and art is about the personal image of the artists, trends and how they "express themselves", and for that reason it mostly sucks.

  • Back when music actually meant something, in your heart, mind, soul. When all your strength to live was heard through the harmonious intricacies of diverse sounds and instruments played in accord. No manner of distraction could divert your passions. For your desire, your own being was defined by the essence of what you heard. It gave breath and tears. Emotions and heart felt serenity expressed through the divine tales of old. Summoned to be expressed as the voice of angels. Destined forever.

  • Every time i listen to this, the tears just blind me. Absoloutley BEAUTIFUL. *sniffles*

  • @WolfieboyMachi Dear Sir, I wrote that for me is great VIVALDI-greetings walter.

I understand that completely, and I agree, to a certain extent. But even so, I cannot forget the fact that there is simply more effort and work put into this kind than in Hip-Hop.

I don't dislike hip-hop, but I will never consider Kanye West to be Mozart's equal.

  • @777ProdigalSon777 So what I'm trying to get to, is that it's not right to look up at your music taste but then look down at somebody elses music taste no matter how it sounds. I don't believe that music is about being teqnically superior. I don't believe that's what makes a song great. I believe what makes a song great is how it makes you feel. For you , what makes your skin tingle and your heart get touched, it may be classical but maybe for somebody else, it's rap.
