吉澤ひとみ @ AX09 Day 2 (LACC) [Part 3]

So after having been able to chase 吉澤ひとみ around the LACC and seeing her up close, my friends and I finally decide to move on and visit the Exhibition Hall to see all the booths and artists. I pick up a copy of プラチナ９DISC for $20.00 and get myself separated from my friends somehow.

So I am alone, walking around, when I start feeling tired--I had been jumping and dancing along at the concert earlier and it was already my 3rd day at LACC. I decided to exit the Exhibition Hall and call my friends from outside the doors, on the second floor of the South Hall. I take the middle exit and walk left towards the chained-off stairs and other guarded doors. Having received no response from my friends on the phone, I then stand off to the side, next to the closed doors of the hall and watch the よっすぃ chase video I had.

I push play and see something from the corner of my eye. There were people coming down the chained-off set of stairs (where some attendees were just sitting). "Why would someone be coming from those stairs?" I wondered. I look up, refocus my eyes, and to my surprise (again) it was よっすぃ once more. I fumble with my camera and switch to recording mode.

This is the video of 吉澤ひとみ walking through the Exhibition Hall, practically unimpeded (again). And, again, I follow from behind politely. I know how strict they have been with photography at the other events, and I didn't want to anger the main translator who was most adamant about creating a buffer for the beloved HANGRY to be able to walk through the crowd.

At one point someone notices me following again with a camera pointed at よっすぃ, and begin to follow suit with their own mobile phones and digital cameras. Then, a stranger from the corner of my ear says, "Is that supposed to be someone famous? I don't know her." I grin and keep filming.

Throughout this entire time, she is using her own handheld camcorder handed to her at the door by one of the people in the entourage. You can see her point the camera back to herself in the beginning (maybe it recorded me).

I get brave towards the end and dodge some antendees and cosplayers to walk side-by-side with よっすぃ's group and say her name. "よっすぃ！"

She turns to her left and looks at me and says, "Hi!" just before some guy cuts in front of me to take her photo. He uses flash and gets pushed aside by the translator. I keep following with a smile on my face.

She finishes her walk at the autograph booth. I stop filming so that her team won't get mad at me through the curtains, and then I sit down to finally rest my legs. Too bad I didn't have an autograph ticket, but I'm pretty satisfied nonetheless.

よっすぃ、大好き！
