I'm afraid so and it is an embarrassment. We even had b&w in 1974!!! For some time there was arguing weather to use PAL or NTSC and eventually they decided to go for PAL and subsequently we got colour tv in late 1974.

I have a CD of most of their numbers, and in their later songs (after they slipped out of the charts) she could almost be Dionne, and musically they were at a far higher level than her old style. Quite why her star rose and fell so quickly ..... I can only guess that they heralded the bubble-gum pop sound soon to be perfected like bands like "Middle of the Road" and somehow the emerging Polly Browne style got swept under.

the lp photo looks exactly like her . For whatever reason she used a multitude of wigs for her tv appearances , including the blonde wig she uses in this video.

It's been forty years since this song was out and I was with Roselynn Park. A lot of water has been under the bridge since then...but I still get that same olod feeling!

Very classy singer,very much like Dionne Warwick,she should have been a major star.
