Why did America loose her Judeo/Christian worldview? Why are Christian families in America losing 70-80 percent of their children to a secular mind-set by the time they turn fifteen? Why did the U.S. Supreme Court rule in 1962-63 that prayer and Bible reading were unconstitutional for American school children? What significant leaven has crept into the fabric of America's social conscience that permits a million and a half abortions each year since 1973? Did you know that Noah Webster, America's Schoolmaster, said during our founding era, "...that the man who weakens or destroys the divine authority of the Bible may be accessory to all public disorders that society is doomed to suffer." Has there been such a man? In this eye-opening program, G. Dr. Sharp will historically answer all of the above questions, as well as show you how America can reclaim Her former estate. This will be one of the most disturbing and beneficial presentations you will ever see.

  • Many, if not most, Universities were founded by Christians and they were religious. Now there are atheists & heretics among the most influential of the faculty, whether a University was started by Catholics or Protestants. The foundations in America have crumbled & most of our churches are crumbling & being rebuilt pagan.

  • @maths82 Does this mean you're not going to answer the question?

  • @slaves4christ

Are you nice to your neighbour soley to please a god? Because he'll send you to hell if you don't?

  • @slaves4christ Well I think the old testament is a little ambiguous when it comes to abortion, and in defining it's terms when it talks about murder. This is part of ethics and morals where two rights meet, and it's a tragedy. I think society and science is still discussing this and the idea of what constitutes a human life. No easy answer, certainly not yet.

  • @slaves4christ Ah, so it's okay to have slaves, so long as they don't believe in the same god as you. I've no doubt that the abolitionists were christians... as were of course all the slave owners and traders too,so that's a an even score there for christianity. And didn't Jesus say he didn't come to change the old law? So all the ownership and rape of women is still okay.

  • @maths82 But none of this logically matters in an atheistic worldview. Why do morals have to serve common welfare? What about survival of the fittest? What obligation do we have to our neighbor? Is it wrong for a lion to eat her cubs, for dolphins to gang-rape another dolphin, for one animal to steal another's meal, is it murder for a snake to consume a field mouse? And if we evolved from worms, how are we any different?

  • @maths82 And as for the most basic of human rights, the Right to Life, Christians are always leading the charge to defend the weak & helpless against murder. I've been in the pro-life movement for quite a while & have only run into 2 pro-lifers who weren't Christians, only 1 atheist, but 1000s of Christians. The Bible says to execute murderers, including one kills a baby in the womb & refers to those in the womb as babies, persons - not blobs of tissue & condemned those who sacrificed infants.

  • @maths82 All the cultures involved with the story of the Bible put women down, while Jesus raised them up & held them as equal. Slavery is only accepted in the Bible as indentured servitude/paying off of debts & as punishment for those who rebel against God. Kidnapping was punishable by execution & kidnapping is what slavery was based on in the west. It was Christians that fought against with William Wilberforce in England & Harriet Tubman & the Underground Railroad & abolitionists in the US.

  • @slaves4christ Oh, and it would be great if you addressed the issues I put to you in my other post. Secular values adopted and accepted by christians, such as human rights, abolishment of slavery and female equality? Do you agree with these movements or not? If you do agree with them, why are they not in the bible? It's taken secular thought to arrive at these. You can thank the secular world any time you like : )
