"look, Ive got some things to ask you regarding Nicholas..."she said trailing off. Joe looked up and cursed the sky. "why is it always about him?!" he thought to himself. "fine,"he sighed,"ask anything you ignorant bitch". "fantastic! Well! where should I start?" "oh god kill me now" Joe muttered.
~ THE NEXT DAY (Ill reveal the things they talked about later)
Selena wobbled throughout campus still remembering the events of the previous day.
Was he really talking to a friend? or was he talking to his wife? Sighing in frustration Selena sat on a nearby bench and devoured her lunch. "god," she thought "I really make horrible sandwiches!" she looked down, her face full of sorrow.
"here"a voice said, extending his hand that held a sandwich. "It might be better for you to eat that" he added while taking a seat beside her. "thanks.."looking up,"!pro-professor Ni-nick!" she stuttered, "what are you doing here?!" her face quickly changed from a depressing sorrow to a irritating anger. "I think I have every right to sit on the bench as much as you" he chuckled holding his hands up.
"NO!Find another bench!Get away from me!" Selena growled. "Ill go if you eat the sandwich I made first" he smiled handing her the sandwich. "NO!" she yelled slapping his hand away which caused the sandwich to fall on the ground and get soiled. Nick's eyes widen in shock. In his mind everything was planned out. No one was hurt.
He looked up and saw Selena in tears. What did he do to cause her to break? What did he do to make her hate him? He never loved Selena, but he did care for her. "Selena, please stop cryi-" he gently approached her. "GET AWAY!" she barked quickly getting up, "look I didn't meant to offend your cooking in any way-"
"you'll never understand"she said. "hey whats with all this drama?" Joe chuckled. "JOE!" she called running towards him, wrapping her arms around him. Nick stood up and watched the girl sob. "hey big brother!what'd you do to her?!" Joe scoffed. "nothing, I just offered her a sandwich,"he explained. "its not what you do on the outside its what you DID in the inside" Selena coldly said while wiping her tears. "Joe I have to go, see you at home" she glanced at Nick for the last time and walked away.
Nick was left in shock as he watched the fragile girl, who used to devote her whole being to him, walk away with every inch of hatred filled in her heart. But what he didn't understand was, what did he do? He was always like this but she had never reacted that way before. Lacing his fingers on the top of his head Nick plopped back on the bench and gave out a very frustrated sigh.
Joe titled his head to the side, questioning his brother's reaction in his head. "hey bro,"he started as he sat beside him,"you should get the house ready, she's coming home" Nick turned his head and met Joe's confused eyes with his icy glare. "Joe, will, would you-just for once!keep out of my business!!"he growled immediately stomping away.
"keep this up, and you'll lose Selena forever" Joe smirked letting out an evil devious laugh in the back of his mind. He picked up the sandwich and gave it a disgusted look,
"love?ha.fuck it.loves got nothing to do with this!"raising his hand in the air he threw the sandwich on the ground and dropped his foot on it.

Selena dropped her bags and collapsed on her newly bought bed. Grabbing the sheets she let out a scream, full of sadness and hatred. 'why am I crying?!Im not suppose to cry over him!he loves me!I know it!but..' pushing the thoughts aside she rolled on her back and grabbed her phone.
Scrolling through her phonebook she stopped at Joe's number and dialled it immediately. "hey Selena!" he smiled hiding an evil smirk underneath, "Joe.."she sniffed,"please come over here","sure Ill be there in a few minutes,see ya soon!". Selena covered her face with her hands, and sighed. This is how its gonna be from now on, she said to herself.

Passing through the busy streets Nick couldn't get his thoughts straight. Ruffling his hair he felt vibration in his left pocket. "hello this is Nick Jonas,who is this?" "Nick. Its me" "figures.what do you want? a throne? a palace?" he scoffed. "no...its not that" "then what is it?!" he barked, causing the surrounding people to stop and stare. "Ill tell you soon, for now, au revoir"
