SABBATH WORTHY OF HALL BUT NOT DONE YET

Black Sabbath is one of the bands being inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall of Fame on Monday, March 13, at the Waldorf-Astoria in New York City. The band will be ushered into the hall by Metallica, and are largely considered the fathers of hard rock and heavy metal.

While the band is happy to be inducted to the hall, they're taking the high road. Some bands who haven't gotten in have taken previous years' snubs personally, such as the Sex Pistols who issued an anti-Hall of Fame statement saying they're not coming. Black Sabbath guitarists Tony Iommi said that like some recent inductees, Sabbath is very much a working band.

Tony rocks! Black Sabbath is worthy because:

1. Their the Gods of Heavy Metal.

2.All the guitars riffs you hear are copies or ripped off of Black Sabbath's songs.

3. Tony Iommi is one of the best guitar players ever.

4. " The Prince of Darkness" was originally n the band.

Metallica are a sad attempt to fuse heavy metal with hardcore punk and then soften it up HEAPS to make it enjoyable for the mainstream, it's sad if they can't get the fans like other metal bands out there. Scandinavia has a good metal underground, plenty of fans and little or no mainstream attention.

i looked up the hall members and gnr weren't there. sorry i did not mean to offend you greatly oh grand sir gloople. I did not know about the event that won't take place for three years. and lastly, how can you agree that some dead popstar that molested little kids should get in the rock star hall of fame.
