Hey Guys, this tutorial is mainly about how the mixer works and about how the audio signal gets processed inside logic's tracks, I recommend you watch at least the last tutorial before this one because it gives you the basic knowledge, hope you enjoy!

  • What is wet and dry, i really never understood what both do?

  • @TimH9eleven1 wet/dry is how much of the effect is being applied to the audio ie fully wet would be 100% affected, completely dry would be 0% (i.e unchanged)

-An Aux send is another buss essentially, The Split is either before or after your fader...Post(after) or pre (before) all you need to remember for simplicity is that Time based processors (FX such as delay or reverb etc..) are ALWAYS post. This is done to maintain your wet/dry ratio. Hope this helps! :)

  • what is an auxilary channel?

  • That vocal plug-in is hilarious. It somehow takes the posh-ness out of your accent. I didn't know there was a plugin for deposhing.

Thanks for the tutorial. You're certainly easing my struggle to learn Logic.

    Best regards
