Paths of Time - National Museum of Singapore, Night Festival 2010

This musical performance features six songs by Dick Lee who wrote them for the musical Mortal Sins which was first commissioned by TheatreWorks.

Do you believe in dreams? Are you afraid of dreaming?

Two strangers in two different times and two different places. One is a celebrity striptease in the 60s. The other is a prude working in the censorship board in the present. One dreams of a great future and is waiting for her special someone to come. The other does not believe in dreams and wastes no time dreaming.

Facilitated by Time Past and Time Present, the two strangers become unlikely friends. Change is on its way. Something strange is in the air. Yet, they are unable to stop Time from revealing and unveiling their deepest darkest fantasies and turning them into realities. Only Time will tell.
