An intense spring electrical storm in Kansas City recorded on Monday, June 14th 2010. This video was captured roughly two miles east of Lake Quivira in Kansas City, KS. The lightning and low rumbling thunder was constant for nearly an hour that evening. The thunderstorm ended up producing no wind and very little rain.

Forgive me for the purple bar at the top of the video, but I grabbed the first camera I could find to record this and I ended up grabbing our six-year-old Sony digital camera that is on the verge of giving up the ghost. Some of the other effects you see are likely due to EMF interference - there was literally lightning in every direction!
