Here's the rub: despite the banter & disdain of critics post-Beatles, Paul was inarguably a badass songwriter--silly often but also oftentimes profound & masterful--and this song, like the Lp itself, is a perfect example of what the critics back then laughed and scoffed at. I bought the Lp when it came out, played it to death, and still stand behind it!! McCartney Solo material is comparable to history's take on the Bee Gees: Oh, sure..NOW everyone thinks they're the shit!

@ImYourMom2468 Yes it was! That's where I first heard this song. Chevy Chase is trying to catch a London cab in the rain and not having much luck. It was a fun movie and I always liked this song.

Geez every performance I look up of Paul's, especially in the 70's, he just sounds so great! Paul really did a good job with Wings in the 70's I think. His tours look so fun and are so well done.
