This is a song from the Luther Vandross All star Tribute Album and just like Patti Labelle, Aretha got off and showed her best vocals for the late and great Luther Vandross so please comment and rate my video.

  • Not only did Aretha turn this into a symphony, Aretha sang circles around Dionne, Luther, Ella and every other singer who sang this one!! In addition to that, this song won The Queen, Miss ReeRee her 20th Grammy!!!!! Aretha owned every inch of this song!!!!!!

  • If this doesn't bring him home, nothing will! Aretha wears this out even with her voice not in top condition.

  • @CeritoLivesInDC You are the one who is "naked"

    and deaf too.

  • You people remind me of the story "The Emperor's New Clothes". Aretha has lost her magnificant voice in her later years. Admit it. I still respect her for all her accomplishments and the decent and moral life she has lived in the spotlight. But Aretha is a has been in the recording industry.

  • Nidely done by Aretha, but to be frankly, it doesn't come close to the flawless, and utter beauty vandross expresses. i'm sorry, but I'm a hugh fann of Aretha. It's a different interpretation, but for me it doesnt do the it.

  • You can't even understand what she is saying in some bits, she sounds slurry and uncomfortable. She is the queen of soul alright! And in some bits she sounds amazing. But overall this is just a bit shrieky and inaudible at bits. Pls don't bash me for having an opinion since luther made this sing into a lush r&b jam

  • Luther, please come back....

  • This is simply a masterpiece.

  • It's so unbelievable how this woman will interpret a song that has been sung so many times. This is what you call sublime and flawless. She is absolutely amazing!! ONly Aretha. The vocal beast!!

  • Justice to Luther's version as only Ms. Franklin could do.

  • Still a great sounding voice for me.. she is a favorite of mine.. despite-she still sounds good to me..

  • Thank goodness there are still some real ''motown'' musicians left, Aretha's voice is just electrifying!!! Makes you wanna throw all your pop and r'n'b cd's away!!!
