  • if the icon is only showing "No Input Window" where should i configure, Please Help...

  • In the meantime, I read on the Linux Mint Forum that Scim was deprecated and that it is recommended to install ibus instead.

    After trying it, I can say that ibus is ok, once you've made all the modifications in the control center (add "ibus-daemon" in the startup applications, select the ibus preferences and modify the language options).

  • Hi, cheers for this, I have installed it but the keyboard doesn't always appear and the commands to get it working wont work.
