Elite Dental Studios Gerber denture setup for Candulor competition

Elite Dental Studios http://www.elitedentalstudios.co.uk/ and Ambridge Ceramics http://www.ambridgeceramics.co.uk/ joint entry for Candulor competition held at the IDS in Koln 2009. The components used for the bar were Camlog and done to a style requested for the competition, usually we woud always look for a CAD/CAM solution for implant bars and beams due to their many benefits.

many thanks, i watched your link, very impressive, you use the dentition for infomation, the best way! we can only use the condyle and fossa as reference, are you farmiliar with condylator and the gerber philosophy? i am happy with the meathod we extract the infomation from patient, on the movment of their condyle, and the simulation of the atriculator. then there is always cad cam

Protesi molto scolastica (bella) ma. priva di movimento di lateralità, protrusione e retrusione..Oggi ci vuole un articolatore con branca mobile inferiore e fissa superiore..Gli articolatori con movimento superiore sono solo approssimativi nella costruzione non reale....Vedi Articolatore RAINIERI Four Real Movements.....(Come la bocca corpo umano)..

1. we know this is not a music show. its youtube!

2.we did all of this ourselves, tech and presentation -bloody difficult too!

3.what is the denture? (please explain) but i think i`m happy with my understanding of dentures.

4. this is a very old school approach for Koln 2009, not as advanced as we`d of liked to do.

This case appears to be in a cheek bite on the patients right side. Not sure how the function will be when the patient goes into excursions to chew. It is nice and shiny, I really like the customization of the teeth. The tissue tends to look a little swollen like he has tissue inflammation. The bar looks nice too.
