i have climbed k2 wthout bottled o's and also sagarmatha ( everest ). everest is a cake walk if u have 100 g and about 6 sherpas doin all the work and u get all te credit. i did both wit one sherpa and no fame just the will to climb. beat that u panzy asses that think its hard with o's

I'm new to the whole everest fascination thing, and I'm no "hardcore" mountaineer, but I sure don't think Everest is a "milk run". Of course it IS a little different than it was when the likes of Mallory and Hillary did it. More important than any of that, to me, is the fact that Everest IS becoming a "tourist trap" albeit an insane, deadly one. It's the world's highest oxygen tank and unwanted camping equipment dump on Earth, complete with prostitution, gambling, and high crime rates.
