  • I sold that PSP for parts and got a different one. The second PSP worked fine for a while until it encountered the same problem. I discovered that the issue could be from either the ribbon connectors or the fuse connector. For mine, it was the ribbon behind the D pad. After it was fixed, the PSP would not charge even after being plugged in. Then I toggled around with the fuse and it finally worked normally. I recommend disassembling the PSP to be sure. Find a tutorial if needed. Hope this helps.

    you may have over charged it and broke the battery the same theng happend with my first airs soft gun left it on all night the battery never worked

  • woah iv'e never seen the inside of a psp B4 thnx.. oh by the way.just buy a new won coz that is seriuosly stuffed.

  • it sounds like the cable that links the AC adaprot to the motherboard has burned out which means you need to replace that but they only cost £5 which is about $10 and are quite easy to fit.

  • what fuse?! tell me i need to get it fixed!
