Rickisan, nice to hear from you! Wow, it's a small world. I can still remember the Hideaway and Angie, along with Bill and Joanie Calvert. I can't remember if Dad had said anything in the last few years about Bill Calvert. Dad lives near Raleigh, NC now with his wife Ruth. He still plays. @luvtopaint1, Hi! I played in a band with your Dad down in Miami in the 70's. The band was Bill Calvert and The Reserves at the Hideaway Lounge in Hialeah on 103rd St. Dang he can still play just like he did then. Best fiddle player I ever heard. Funny thing Erven Rouse who wrote Orange Blossom Special used to come in and play with the band and sing Orange Blossom Special! I'd love to know if your Dad remembers what ever happened to Bill Calvert. I think Curtis stayed with him in Hialeah.
