Hehe i like it :) I'd seen this video before - I was aiming for a mix between this and the scene in the film Contact with the giant portal machine. Do you have any recommendations for books on learning HLSL, i've got the C# nailed (been doing it since it came out) but am struggling on finding a good HLSL resource...

I knew that thing looked familiar, but had forgotten all about the portal machine in Contact. I don't know any good HLSL resource. I got started off Reimer's tutorial, then just picked the rest up as I went. The forums were good at filling in gaps.
