This is a clip of fly fishing a favorable piece of steelhead water on a northern Oregon coastal stream. It shows how you can avoid backcasting with tight cover; which is a very common scenario of many Oregon Coastal streams.

  • That water looks a little fast for steelhead

  • did you catch anything...and i think you aren't getting a good enough drift, you need to mend more IMHO

  • bobber fishing... sure looks the same but the fight in a fly rod is tons of fun!
