SAYDEE and DEELORES

Every night that this play performed at The House Of Tribes the theater was packed. The telephone rang off the hook for seats in the audience and every performance ended with a standing ovation and not a dry eye in the house. Saydee and Deelores is about a woman leaving New Orleans to move to California to pass for white. Written, directed and performed by Melanie Maria Goodreaux this is true work of art.
