The British/Iranian caller is forgetting that the Shah was installed after a CIA/British backed coup that overthrew Iran's only truly democratically elected (and popular) government in the 1950s.
I don't agree with Galloway's blanket denial that the Iranian election wasn't rigged. The fact is we don't know for sure. The results were announced much sooner than normal even for Iran.
Galloway's wrong about British ppl living outside the UK not being able to vote... they can and do.

MESSAGE TO MR. MOUSAVI -- Part Two: ..when they must all be united. Mr. Mosavi, you lost a golden opportunity for not uniting all Iranians by focusing on the imminent danger Iran faces. Instead, you divided Iranians at a time when ...

Galloway apologies for nothing in regards to the Iranian regime except that the Irainians have the right to sort their own government out. Galloway maintains that if there is evidence of a rigged election then we have cause for condemnation of the election.
Is there that evidence?
Galloway makes an excellent point about the Shah being unelected. That's one the grand contradictions about these Iranian "democracy" supporters - they ironically enough support(ed) the Shah, who was unelected, ruthless and worse of all - a puppet.
