Long-winded, but I agree. The government is not the best at making the right decisions to distribute money efficiently for important issues. When bureaucracy takes the place of responsible leadership, you're in for trouble.

@Kalbeflow turtles arnt amphibians, they dont require water to lay eggs, aquatic turtles do lay eggs near the water but thats because its close to home, this project is more focused on woodland dwelling box and wood turtles which have long ranges and frequently wander into traffic, but fencing them in is no solution, that could cause starvation

@gryffinator2011 actually there are some species that can climb up steep rocky waterfalls but that doesnt matter the point is this project was probably more harmful to wildlife than the road they fenced in
