This video uses Joseph Conrad's Heart of Darkness and the film Apocalypse Now as its inspiration in focusing on the darkness that existed in the Belgian Congo of King Leopold II and the darkness that has persisted over the past century into our own time.

An estimated 13 million congolese were killed by the rapacity of Belgian colonialism right up to 1930. Historians and politicians will not consider this a holocaust because the perpertrators didnt lose any great wars and werent killing Europeans. Hitlers greatest crime was that he was doing to white Europe what White Europe had been doing to Black Africa for centuries. The jews are quitely rightly mourned as victims of Holocaust while the congolese are exiled in the dustbin of history.

@layishevik That is not the point, King Leopold killed about 13-20 million people, that is a fact , the intent does not matter at all(In this case purely for money). Another problem is the highest award you can win in Belgium is the Order of Leopold(Named after Leopold 2). Imagine going to Germany and the highest award being the Order of Hitler. I love how you are trying to use the race card(Anyone REGARDLESS of color who kills is evil, if they happen to be WHITE, BLACK, it doesn't matter.
