Gameplay from the original Sonic the Hedgehog for the Sega Genesis/MegaDrive.
Released in '91, the original Sonic was what Sega needed to break into the console market they had all but been pushed out of by Nintendo. It was 16 glorious bits of speed, speed, color, and more speed. Before the endless "original" characters, before the insane cameras, before the drop in quality, there was the original. And it was good.
All this time I never did a gameplay video for the original Sonic. Well, that mistake is now rectified.
