you should play guild wars 2 when it comes out in 2011. Trust me, go to gamespot and look at the two gameplay videos from gamescom. It won best online game at gamescom and its free to play!

That's generation WotLK for ya.
Since then fires became so impotent that they need like 10 seconds or longer to kill you.
Why should I move out of it if the healers can keep me up?
That's the problem since Blizz decided to de-claw all their encounters

Well, in raids you have to stay situationally aware at all times.
The step where you check for other dangers should be an integral part of your dps rotation.
In addition, the people who stand in fire aren't always just noobs.
Sometimes they are players just so obsessed with topping the recount that they pay no attention to anything else.
No bone spikes, no adds, no debuffs, no other fight mechanics.

Lightninghoof.
Voodoosix wanted to create a guild out of YT Atheists and Skeptics.
But there's simply too many players on different realms and factions.
It would be pretty cool, though.

Well, in RS, you can stand in fire and not take damage.

That's the real irony.
The few times the weird AoE goop is actually GOOD, they DON'T stand in it.
e.g. RS, Malygos's dome-shields, Festergut's spores...
