A pro-tibet protester threw a shoe at Chinese Primeminister Wen Jiabao

A protester threw a shoe at Mr Wen while he was giving a speech at Cambridge University.

Reuters reported that the shoe landed about a metre from Mr Wen.

It added that the protester, reported to be a young man, shouted "how can the university prostrate itself with this dictator?"

The BBC's Angus Crawford said the protester was taken away by police while AFP reported that fellow members of the audience shouted "shame on you" as he was escorted out of the auditorium.

Dycarbon, SO, WHY do 60% of americans disagree with AMERICA's actions in IRAQ or AFGAHNISTAN? WHILE less then 4% of chinese people disagree with Tibetan Occupation? FACT IS BOTH CHINESE and AMERICAN government actions are wrong, BUT why do over 96% of chinese insist they are right ( WHEN EVEN THEY KNOW DEEP INSIDE THEY ARE WRONG), Its because of propaganda. Theres no way 96% of a population could support a single politcal view if they werent brainwashed. Its just a sad fact of china.
