Another good day for protesting the Idle Morgue. Not much going on there and not many people. Secret asian man came out with his failcam and our "Con Seannery" hopped in the car with some woman. I'm sure some people will be curious as to who he really is. We eventually decided to go head over to the bookstore where there was more clams to enturbulate.

  • This dude has got game

  • @CaptainAwesomeoh13 As I said, Hubbard was too stoned or lazy to come up with something better. I've noticed that Hubbard was pretty sloppy in his Scientology writing or speeches when it came to alien technology; note that he said he was nearly run over by a locomotive on Venus, and not a hover train!

  • @MrJohndoakes Very true, but you'd figure these uber aliens would have advanced to the point where they'd have reverse magnitism or anti-gravity engines.

  • @CaptainAwesomeoh13 I'm guessing they are supposed to take off from the ground, fly in space, and then land again....you need wings to land horizontally in an atmosphere; the space shuttles only needed their wings to glide back after reentry. I guess the space planes looked like DC-8s because Hubbard was reinforcing that humans remember their past lives as aliens, or he was too stoned/lazy to come up with something else.

  • Sekrit Asian Man, Con Seannery and an empty morgue. Seattle never fails to deliver. :D

  • The guy who drives by at 3:06 is giving you the thumbs-up!

  • @CaptainAwesomeoh13 Answer:The guy was a science-fiction writer. Anything goes....

  • Here's a question:

Space is a vacuum; therefore, the use of wings in space is purely useless. Why did the "space plane" of that day look like a DC-8? That always bothered me.
