In January 2009, four us of from Fort Collins made an attempt at climbing the highest mountain in the western hemisphere - Cerro Aconcagua. Never having been there before, we brought nothing but our wits and experience elsewhere as we spent a week and a half on the mountain. We battled fatigue, weather, illness, and the mental anguish knowing others were dying above us on the mountain. While we did not reach the summit, our trip was a success, and all of us returned safely.
This is a short teaser of what we hope to be a feature length documentary concerning our trip and others, as well as the tragic events that occurred on the mountain then.
