I used Extrude tool for the edges and paste the points with weld tool

Just press right click in viewport will find these tools

yes! im starting to get the hang of it. it took a while to figure out what your doing.

a lil tip if you hold the space bar on youtube it quickly pauses and plays the video creating a near slow motion effect. yet still a pain in the ass
