no, but that era was the time people were tired of rock and wanted something fresh. Rap what was new but that time it had a hard message that white people didn't like cuz they just wanna feel good. Vanilla Ice was just the white boy to make white people happy by (again) exploiting something a black person has created and putting a white face on it to help it sell. What has also bad was he didnt d it well. He even almost openly copied MC Hammer with the sound and style.

Arsenio is fucking right asking him those questions. One thing about talk shw host's today is that they dont ask the had questions we want them to untill its OK'd by the various agents and producers. People felt that way about what he did if if that was not his intention so arsenio asked right.

Good to see that Arsenio went from this, to obscurity, to standing out front at award shows interviewing celebrities. Funny how now he is nobody compared to back in the day when he was calling out Leno and Letterman.
