i hate the white sox, but the ump was grandstanding throwing out dye.
he wasn't arguing balls and strikes, his back was to the umpire. the blue was pissed cause dye left his bat on the plate (thus disrespecting him). tossing him was dickish. unless dye called him a name while his back was turned (which is possible), the umpire was doing too much.
