When I watch this all I can think of is how brave these firefighters are to go & risk their lives to save another's property. I was in Warrnambool during the 2006 bushfires, living alone in a rented house, no friends nearby, no insurance. After midnight a report came in that a big fire was headed right toward us. I don't remember ever feeling so scared. All I could do was go in my room, close the door & pray. Then at about 3am the wind suddenly changed & the fire turned away. Thank God.

It was so touching to see people that were devestated by the Victorian fires come up here to help us in the Queensland floods....very special Australians and us Queenslanders love ya's...
