I'm assuming everyone who has said this is abuse has never actually trained as a competetive gymnast? Because I didn't see one thing in this video that I haven't seen in my own gym that I train at. I've been pushed beyond my limits to the point of tears, pushed around, and kicked out of my gym before. The tougher you are, the tougher your gymnasts are, and it shows when we constantly place in state. Gymnastics isn't for everyone but don't hate on those who CAN endure the training and succced.

ok, im training alete, and my coaches do basically all this stuff to me and my team mates, i mean it's hard and painful but people make a big deal cuz it's china and there kicking ass in competition

People don't seem to realise that the kids aren't forced to do this. Well yes, they're made to practise, but they are allowed to quit gymnastics if they want. These kids are all there cause at the end of the day they want to succeed, they don't keep training kids who don't try hard enough and won't win.

@maarten2425 dude....I started my training that was just as hard when I was 3 years old....and all the children around me understood the price it took to become a good athlete. You just underestimate the ability and determination of children even from a young age.

@hollisterluver1308 Also I do know all about intense training - that is why I watched this in the first place, We in USA have GREAT sports people - Gold medalist etc etc. World champs . and we do NOT subject kids to this BS for the most part. not that we are perfect by any means.

@hollisterluver1308 you need to see my comment - and the others need to as well. "only the ones that can endure" ? - no - they are forced to endure. that is the whole point. Why are they crying - not for "ice cream" but cause they are pushing past a pain barrier that they are forced to endure...Play does not mean get into trouble - adult supervisors is not the same as this horror. you are either one of the instructors or your are too young to realize - this is not the stone age anymore.
