Then again read up on American history during their times, consider what regions of the country they both lived in and their personal histories. Martin was no softy either. After you put things in perspective then look at the thoughts and attitudes you carry about each of them and consider the posible prejudices you may be lugging around conciously or unconciously.  If you do this with an open heart the world could change for you. Who knows

Learning about the country you live in might add some important context.
