  • I'm very old but that concert was AWESOME

  • I was there! AWESOME day of rock & roll!

  • @HardRockDrummer666

All depends on what show you watch or how fucked up Pete got before he played. I too play drums & think Pete was a good drummer BEFORE he let drugs fuck up his reflexes. He was a swing drummer, & I think that lent to a lot of that early KISS sound. Not really a fan of Eric Singer, Great drummer, very technically sound, but very mechanical in his playing, not a lot from the heart.

  • @jaytube2112 There's 8 songs that I know of: Duece, Got To Choose, Firehouse, Parasite, Watchin' You, Black Diamond, Cold Gin and God Of Thunder. They are all on KISSOLOGY Volume 1.

  • @bgj150 Well, you're certainly entitled to your opinion just like the rest of us, no doubt. And I know plenty about drumming having played both professionally and for my own entertainment for well over 40 years. I, too, studied from a well known KISS drummer - Eric Singer! Does that mean I can play as well as Eric?! NOT EVEN CLOSE!! I never said I didn't like what he contributed to early KISS - I just don't find his drum solos to be very inspiring like I do Mike Portnoy or John Bonham's is all!!

  • @HardRockDrummer666 ....trust me i play drums...if you dont think '' for example the 1976. 8min drum solo here on you tube...isnt A PHENOMENAL SOLO then with all due respect to you really dont know much about drums..

  • I still say this show is a full dress rehearsal, with a planted crowd.....there's many moments in the show that leave me wondering.

  • @bgj150 Oh, I think I know EXACTLY what I'm talking about and I have been a KISS fan since about Hotter Than Hell came out in the '70s... I didn't say he was a terrable drummer and it's a fact that he was a good vocalist - Black Diamond wouldn't be the same without him. But his solos always left a lot to be desired - so repetitious and ladden with effects that they were boring even for a drummer to watch!! Whatever Krupa taught him was never applied in a KISS show!!

  • @HardRockDrummer666 Agreed!

  • in responce to hardrockdrummer666... U HAVE NO FUCKING CLUE ...WHAT THE HELL ARE U TALKING ABOUT...'' BETTER SINGER THAN HE WAS A DRUMMER'' WATCH ALL OF HIS DRUMSOLOS ESP 1976 SOLO...LOOK THAT ONE UP....IN CASE U DONT KNOW HE WAS LEARNING FROM THE LATE GREAT JAZZ DRUMMER GENE KRUPA..BEFORE HE JOINED KISS.....
