That's too difficult a question to ponder, because he had such a major influence on the music of today, a lot of which is just watered-down imitations of himself.
How could we consider how well he would do in a rap-dominated era, when without him, there would have been no rap in the first place?

Johnny Terry is still living. All of the original Flames Brown, Bobby Byrd, Sylvester Keels, Nathan Knox, Floyd Scott, Lloyd Stallworth & Fred Pulliam have all passed.

@IkeDyson71 There is??? I thought I named all of them. Sylvester, Nathan, Floyd & Fred were with the Flames from 1956 to about '59. the most famous line up was of course Bobby Byrd, Bobby Bennett & Lloyd Stallworth which was from 1960-1968. If I am forgetting anything please let me know.
