Willard discusses that the only way that we truly learn, is by making mistakes and failing. Over time, we have become conditioned to avoid exploring our true potential because we fear failing and making mistakes. Yet, the only way that we can experience life, is by making mistakes, learning, applying the lessons and growing.

We've launched our new Forums to bring together comments and feedback on the SA 101 video series that we are getting from YouTube, MySpace, Facebook and other video sites. • I feel sad for you lizzylavidaloca because you are judgeing this person trying to share an experience that he learned, to help us be aware of HOW we learn BY experience, that is what life is all about. We came here to learn Duality and contrast, and like this man says we must become the observer of that experience to see what lessons we have learned or where we must work on areas that we did not grasp the truth about ourself. Great ?'s to ask ourselves. This is the game of life. : -)

  • I think this is a good point in time to talk about looking at life the way "The Kybalion" teaches us. The first Universal principle si the principle of mind. Everything is what you say it is. It all depends on how you see it. In other words, any situation is both good and bad, just as everything in the Universe is both good and bad. So if you look at any experience in your life as a failure then it is a failure. If you see it as a learning experience then it is a success.

    Great video.

    Thanks

  • If you make a mistake while skydiving... you die.

  • how is that so many speakers have bad teeth?

  • Well, if you fail at skydiving....:)

  • A PERFECT SPEECH!

  • Self awarness, a new kind of emotional intelligence (EQ). I ve just started 2 months ago to read books about EQ and mostly they start first by sel awarness before going to the social part of your life which is outside. I guess is true, exploring our interior requires honesty and lot and lot of patience, failures are always around hunting us.

Most life problems are within us, not outside. So I'm conviced the self awared people are very seccesfull in their lifes.

    Good video. Keep coaching us

  • i dont think i wanna learn skydiving by learning form my mistakes lol (i think u only get 1 mistake in skydiving--ur last)

kidding aside, great vid, great message. ppl in our culture are indeed conditioned to dread failure rather than embrace the opportunity it presents

'what is the one step i can take right now?' is a question I (and probably most ppl) don't ask often. thankyou for the reminder.

  • Love is the answer

  • Failure is only a learning tool if you grown on that failure. All things in life teach us even if we do not percieve them. The world has been engulfed into a fearbased ego society for the greed of power and control. These concepts you are sharing are the opening to revelation, as our conciousness increases to the truth, we must leave our ego states behind.

  • "The only way we truly learn is by making mistakes"...very good, I agree !!
