Wonder Woman is cancelled before it even airs -- ClevverTV has details on why the highly anticipated show won't ever hit TV screens.

You're back at ClevverTV -- hey guys, I'm Joslyn Davis with the true story behind the cancellation of Wonder Woman. The TV return of the iconic character has been on the Hollywood radar for quite a long time, with fans of the original gearing up for its NBC debut. Things seemed to hit a road block when criticism of the newly revamped Wonder Woman costume came under fire. However, NBC apparently changed things up and we were expecting the show to be a sure pick up for the coming fall. But when the network announced its new show line-up, Wonder Woman was not included. After tons of speculation as to why, NBC executive Robert Greenblatt spoke out to TV Guide saying the WW team "did a great job on the pilot and worked really hard on it." He added that he has a "huge respect for David E. Kelley," but he said that when they "looked at the schedule and [their] needs and where things were falling into place...[the show] just didn't seem to fit." We are still unsure as to why exactly the program didn't fit, but either way, we're bummed that we'll never get to see a new "Wonder Woman" series. Maybe someday another producer will make a go at bringing back the iconic female hero -- what do you guys think? Are you disappointed? Lucy Lawless doing Xena kind of stole the thunder of any WW reboot. Any remake of this iconic DC heroine that doesn't bother to work with her true origin as princess of the Amazons and modernizing all that mythology isn't really gonna fly.

When hearing that Wonder Woman was making a return to TV screens the other year, one of the names I heard a lot of, was Rose McGowan to play the lead. I've never heard of the person who they finally chose (maybe she's quite well known in America). Rose to me would be a much better choice, hope they dust the script down and try again, with a director who would actually put the effort into making the show, as the trailers I've seen look terrible

it's not the costume that counts, it's what's in the costume that matters. So far all the women suggested for the part of Wonder Woman were too skinny, small boobs, narrow hips and linky legs. Wonder Woman is supposed to be a curvacious Amazon babe, with lots of curves, in all the right places.

My Solution: Make a realistic CGI of a young Lynda Carter and have Lynda voice the character!
