  • Jim Steinman is the king.

  • Only JImmy could make such blatant eroticism so beautiful and poetic.

  • God, what I'd give to just sit and listen to this man talk for a few hours. To hear how the songs were thought up, and what he has experienced. Such a talent! One of the finest pianist in the world.

  • "Can't you see my faded Levi's bursting apart"!!!!

  • @CzarChoiThe2nd I think that permeates a lot of his songs though. Plus the kinda gothic feel he injects.

  • What I love about this song is how it promotes this connection between deep emotional love and sex. Everyone says sex should be a deep intimate thing and yet Love songs never mention sex (and vice versa). What's funny is before I saw this video (though I know what Meat Loaf looks like) I had never noticed that it could be about his weight. The only meaning I noticed was the obvious (sexual) one.

  • @fignon cut the hair, lose you're power

  • Man's a genius!!

  • ESpectacular cancion

  • Best Song EVER

  • there are so many sexual references interwoven with passion in this song. it was the B side of a 45 of 2 out of 3 ain't bad. it was always my favorite song on bat out of hell. my personal favorite lyric is the entire final verse that starts with for taking in the and it builds to a crescendo when you're crying out loud you know i love you! that was primo emo!

  • Ha! I always thought it was because the character of the song was a poor wretch and therefore had old worn clothes!

    Jim is awesome!
