I agree with you. Neil is playing a very different part here on the drums. Not terrible as a group but not the tight group we have all come to know and love. Strange that they are playing the song live before the album release.

You obviously don't get to a lot of live shows. Every band plays and tests songs live before they are released.

You definitely can hear the progression from here to Moving Pictures. Everyone is still developing parts. Ged doesn't sing "the river", the tempo just fluctuates like hell through the whole thing. It slows waaaaaaaaaay down around :50, and picks up later. Way different lyrics toward the end. Alex just improvs the guitar solo.Thanks for posting this. I love this kind of stuff. People make Rush out to be some sort of GODS. Like they NEVER make mistakes. They're human, man. They're human.

i cannot imagine how blown away i would be if i were at this concert...to hear that for the first time and how incredible it is. id think that everyone who heard this had to realize they just heard what would become one of rushs biggest hits.
