Interview with a Human Trafficking survivor who was assisted by the Coalition to Abolish Slavery and Trafficking (CAST) in Los Angeles. Highlights a typical case of slavery in the United States ... today there are more than 27 million slaves in our world. That is more people than were extracted from Africa
during all 400 years of the trans-Atlantic slave trade combined. (see www.castla.org)

  • Truth: If you see another human suffering so badly that it hurts you, you should do something to stop it. We are all humans, we should not wait on governments to fix everything for us. How crippled are we as a people when we pass a crime and the only action we take is to call the police.

You have the free will, dont let society stop you from making a change in the world.

Free will is a God given gift.

  • There is no enforcement by the police going after the traffickers because they are understaffed and completely under-resourced. Its ironic that civilians are more concerned than government or law enforcement are but are not allowed to intervene against traffickers and gather evidence because thats law enforcement's job, its absolutely ridiculous.

  • most all pimps are black

  • To think we have more slaves now than we did in "slavery days" is rlly disgusting. You wld think after Lincoln signed the Proclamation u wld never see such an epidemic but we're sadly mistaken, its worse than ever now and so overwhelming smh... God Bless this child

  • change starts with ourselves.

We must stand up for each other, as humans, we have rights.

  • It's a sick world we live in, when people can get away with this....
