The main difference is that their implementation is harder to press in the top corners due to their implementation of the design. They placed the entire touchpad on an actual button, whereas ours made use of an internal device to provide the feel and sound of a button click; the touchpad felt like it was doing the same thing. The upshot of which is that it is a more robust design with less moving parts exposed to dirty fingers.
