I don't like him.

I'm not familiar with this 'argument' that floats around the interwebs, maybe I just think alike. What I mean is... I don't like a 'perfect performance', I prefer a few mistakes and maybe some rubato here and there. It adds character and shows feeling/passion to the piece being played, no matter the instrument. But some people out there get disturbed by a simple wrong note, or maybe if a pianist leaves out a trill or something they feel the urge to walk out the door, people need to chill out. :D

@DickKnowsBest I'm thankful they're not perfect either. I never said anything of the sort and never mentioned anything about perfection. This whole "we're not robots" argument that is constantly used across Youtube really carries no water.

I'm thankful Pianists aren't perfect. We aren't robots, we're Human, and I think we should respect that and not put people down for not being 'perfect' enough. :(

Every great pianist makes mistakes in almost every performance. These mistakes could be a wrong note, they could miss a note, forget a trill or accent certain notes. I've seen a lot of performances where the Pianist is playing a piece so soft when they hit the keys no sound comes out. Keep in mind every piano if slightly different, it does take a Pianist some time to get used to the weight of the keys, and once they're on stage they have no opportunity to test the piano 5 mins before hand. :)
All pianists make wrong notes...
